Midas Systems produce SpirALS - a powerful management information database used to plan, track, monitor and evaluate additional learning support provision and funding in educational establishments. Learning support is provided to students with additional learning needs, for example because of a disability, literacy, numeracy or language need.

With around 100 individually designed reports covering every stage of support from assessment to outcomes, including comprehensive statistical breakdowns, SpirALS aims to meet every learning support information requirement.

The system is backed up by comprehensive support and training and many additional resources to help you to manage your learning support information (e.g. Data Collection Forms), keep in touch with other users (ALS forum) and link to other college systems (SpirALS DataLink feature). SpirALS will make much lighter work of preparing for audit and inspection and is constantly updated to be compliant with current guidelines and initiatives.

Due to the system’s popularity and high usage in colleges of further and adult education, SpirALS has evolved to include many facilities and reports that are very appropriate for these sectors; however the overall system framework is suitable for any establishment providing learning support.
